GROHE shared its commitment to the environment during ‘Build it Green Lebanon’

Beirut, March 28, 2011-GROHE,a leading player in the sanitary fittings industry, shared its commitment to the natural world and its expertise in water sustainability during its participation in the “Build It Green Lebanon” Sustainability Solutions Conference for the second consecutive year.

Antoine Khalife, Regional Sales Manager – Project Channel of GROHE East Mediterranean, Middle East & Africa, stressed during his intervention on GROHE’s commitment to the ecological and economical use of natural resources and the protection of the environment.  “At Grohe, everything revolves around one element – water – and how to make the best use of this resource. In a world where water resources are under increasing pressure, GROHE works every day to provide solutions to this serious challenge. Our commitment to the environment drives the engineering of our products and technologies to ensure economical use of water,” he added.

A lot of utility cost savings can be generated through the installation of the right water saving fittings. True Sustainable building should produce long-term positive economic impact, use sustainable environmental practices, and be socially responsible by improving the lives with whom the building interacts. “In public buildings water often runs when it’s not needed – yet it only takes a few simple steps, such as replacing regular faucets with self-closing to dramatically reduce unnecessary wastage”, commented Khalife.
