LG showcases the most developed central air conditioning unit at Project Lebanon 2011

Beirut, June 3rd , 2011- LG Electronics, a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics and mobile communication, has announced its participation in Project Lebanon 2011, the International Construction and Environmental Technology Trade Exhibition for Lebanon and the Middle East.

LG joins the best in construction technology, building materials, equipment, and environmental technology firms taking part in this year’s event and showcases the Multi v III VRF commercial air conditioner, the most developed central air conditioner in its category.

Mr. Haenam Ahn, General Manager, AC Levant for LG Electronics said: “Project Lebanon is a showcase of the leading businesses in the building and construction industry and we are really proud to be apart of this initiative. Our strategy is to provide the highest technology products that offer convenient solutions for our consumers while also minimizing their harm on the environment. We want our products to reach all markets, and given the electricity issues in Lebanon, the Multi v III VRF commercial air conditioner will provide energy efficiency solutions to the Lebanese market.

The Multi v III VRF commercial air conditioner, targets zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) by using R410A refrigerant instead of conventional R22. Its extended pipe length and difference in elevation technology is one of world’s best, with a 110m difference in the levels of its ODU and IDU. In addition, the Multi V III reduces installation space by 30%, and a fault prediction function lets you check the current status of the sensors and the EEV, the major components for system control, through a test run.

Mr. Rabih Dawaliby, AC Levant sales and marketing manager for LG Electronics commented: “We participated in Project Lebanon 2011 to highlight LG Electronics presence in the Lebanese Market, at a time the real estate sector is booming. Indeed, the Lebanese economy is forecast to grow 5.8 percent in 2011, so this exhibition is a fantastic networking opportunity to further enhance the thriving construction industry in Lebanon. We’re extremely proud to be part of Project Lebanon and our involvement demonstrates our leadership in the consumer electronics field in the region,” he said.

The MULTI V III boasts three key consumer benefits; higher energy efficiency, larger capacity and longer piping design. The unit’s energy efficiency, boosted by LG’s unique V-Scroll inverter, Cyclone Sub-cooling Circuit and new refrigerant distributor, delivers a COP (coefficient of performance) level[1] of 4.6 for heating and 4.3 for cooling – some of the highest in the industry. LG’s new MULTI V III can help building owners reduce their operational costs and be friendlier to the environment while still providing reliable cooling in extremely hot and humid regions.

Project Lebanon 2011 runs from 31 May till 03 Jun 2011 at BIEL-Beirut-Lebanon.
