Lose weight with Chia Seeds!

You must be wondering what that is?! It’s a seed that was used in the times of Mayas!

It tastes like walnut and is more powerful that the famous flaxseeds!!

Chia seeds are very rich in fiber and omega 3. These 2 features give them the super reputation of helping with weight loss.

It’s also rich in protein, antioxidants, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorous.

How does it help in weight loss? The fiber in the chia seeds with the water that you drink will form a gel inside the intestine increasing its size and weight, making digestion slower and prolonging satiety. Their unique gelling action keeps you feeling full for hours thus the feeling of overeating is reduced. The condition is to drink lots of water. Chia seeds will also help you if you have constipation. It also helps increase lean body mass (muscle) because of its high protein content!

The omega 3 it contains acts as an anti-inflammatory to help people with high levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, hypertension, heart and arteries problems.

And because of its high antioxidant content, studies shoed chia seeds can be good in preventing breast cancer.

It has low glycemic index, so it doesn’t increase blood sugar quickly in the blood and don’t use up much insulin, so it’s good also for diabetic people!

So as you see there are only great benefits about this new seed we discovered in the nutrition world! Now just enjoy it! You can find seeds, flour and oil of chia, can be used in salty or sugary recipes like with fruits, grains, soups, yogurt, salads. Use 1 table spoon of its seeds or flour daily or 2 table spoons of its oil daily! Enjoy its benefits!!
